SUSTAINABILITY POLICY

For VIAJAR DE COLOMBIA LTDA as Wholesaler and Operator Travel Agency, sustainability is a very important value that allows us to ratify our commitment with our Planet, in the implementation and delivery of integral services of quality, that are in accordance with the needs and expectations of our customers, promoting the use of sustainable practices that minimize the negative impact on the environment, training human talent linked to the agency in environmental and socio-cultural issues, supporting local communities by promoting their socio-economic and cultural development, sensitizing customers, suppliers and officials in the use of solid waste.

According to the above, we have designed the following measures for an environmentally friendly model and promotion of sustainable tourism:

  • Training officials in the proper management and efficient use of resources, such as water, paper, space, energy and food, among others.
  • Give priority to suppliers offering eco-friendly and environmentally friendly products.
  • To contract local labor that guarantees a quality service and a socio-economic development of the region.
  • Spread abroad our cultural values and natural wealth of our country which works for sustainable tourism.
  • Prevent sexual exploitation, trade and violence against minors.
  • To inform about the prevention of the hunting and commercialization of our species of flora and fauna.
  • To inform about the behavior and care that must be had in the areas and natural parks.

 

 POLICY OF SECURITY AND HEALTH IN THE WORK

 

VIAJAR DE COLOMBIA LTDA is committed to the protection and promotion of the health of workers, seeking their physical integrity through the control of risks, continuous improvement of processes and protection of the environment.

All levels of management assume the responsibility of promoting a safe and healthy work environment, complying with applicable legal requirements, linking stakeholders in the Occupational Health and Safety Management System and allocating human, physical and Necessary for the management of health and safety.

The programs developed at VIAJAR DE COLOMBIA LTDA will be oriented to the promotion of a preventive culture and self-care, to the intervention of working conditions that can cause accidents or occupational diseases, to control absenteeism and to prepare for emergencies.

ARTICLE 1. The purpose of this law is the protection and conservation of the environment and natural resources, regulating human actions in relation to nature and promoting sustainable development with the aim of improving the quality of life of the population. ARTICLE 2. For the purposes of this law, sustainable development is understood as the process by which the needs of the present generation are satisfied, without jeopardizing the satisfaction of the needs of future generations. The concept of sustainable development implies a permanent global task. ARTICLE 3. The environment and natural resources constitute the patrimony of the nation, its protection and exploitation are governed by law and are of public order. ARTICLE 4. The present law is of public order, social, economic and cultural interest.
